Group Classes

This class is now in the main hall of the North Park Lion's Club so there is plenty of space for everyone! Come learn the most popular dances in San Diego: Salsa & Bachata! You can find a place to Salsa and Bachata dance just about every night of the week here! Mark Pablo and Liza Marians teach the fundamentals of connection and a variety of useful Salsa & Bachata patterns to use on the social dance floor. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone!

West Coast Swing is very popular in San Diego and beyond with many places to go dancing.  It can be done to pop, R&B, blues, country, hip hop, oldies, rock, and more. We teach the fundamentals of swing connection and a variety of useful patterns to use on the social dance floor. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone!

This class is in the large ballroom at Dance Headquarters so there is plenty of space to travel and practice your two-step! Country Two-Step is rising in popularity! More and more country songs are being made with two-step rhythm, and djs are starting to play more two step songs at bars & events. Join Country Two-Step award winner Liza Marians and her partner Mark Pablo for this fun and useful dance class to take your Country Two-Step to the next level. Learn basic patterns and variations as well as connection, leading & following skills, and the basic rhythm of the dance. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone! The space is huge with a wood floor and air conditioning! Wear shoes with a smooth sole; cowboy boots are fine.

Learn how to country dance on Monday nights at Inzane! Liza and Mark are teaching progressive two-step on the 3rd Monday of the month. Other instructors are teaching country swing on the other Monday nights. Progressive two-step is a casual partner dance with two step rhythm that is influenced by country swing. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone!

7-8pm Intermediate Two-Step

8-10pm open dancing (two-step & country swing)

Learn how to hip hop dance on Thursdays with Mark Pablo! This class is a combination of hip hop fundamentals as well as tips on how to incorporate hip hop styling and moves into west coast swing patterns. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone! Currently the students are learning a short routine that they will perform later in the year.

Double the learning, double the fun with 2 instructors at no extra charge!  Liza and Mark often choreograph and teach wedding dance routines together ranging from simple to elaborate routines. They also teach most group classes together in a variety of genres. Many of their students enjoy having 2 instructors during private lessons and/or group classes because Liza and Mark each have their own unique perspectives and work well together as a team.

Learn how to dance a variety of genres or prepare for your wedding with Liza or Mark's help.  Both instructors are personable, creative, talented, and make learning to dance a lot of fun.  Many of their students have said that dance lessons were their favorite part of wedding planning.
